COMPUTER SIMULATION OF THE THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY PROCESS IN METAL FOIL

Abstract:
The paper describes an example of computer modeling of the process of heat conduction through a layer of metal foil. A mathematical model of the physical process has been developed, the program algorithm has been described, and the program text with comments has been presented. The program is implemented in the Maxima computer algebra system, which is suitable for junior students due to its simplicity, versatility, and accessibility. This article presents some results of the computational experiment.
