Physics in Higher Education 3 Introduction Physics in the Technological Society The paper is written on the occasion of the MIPT fiftieth anniversary. The importance of physics and its part in the modern word is discussed. Research Student Physics Laboratory
in Technical University of XXI Century Student research physics laboratory of Bauman Moscow state technical university is reported in details. Educational methods of BMSTU physics department are discussed in application to students of different specialties and years of education. WWW technology for laboratory works is also applied. Simple Method of a Conclusion of the State Equation of Ideal Fermi-gas with an
Arbitrary Degree of Degeneration The state equation of Fermi-gas with an arbitrary degree of degeneration (ô¹0) is deduced. As against traditional method based on consideration of Gibbs distribution with variable number of particles and introduction of W-potential, the offered method does not appeal to concepts unknown to students of younger rates, being based on more simple consideration of flows of particles on a wall. Carriers of a Charge in the Semiconductor with Multicharge Impurities within the
Framework of a General Physics Course On the example Germany with impurity of two sorts - donors (single-charged antimony) and acceptors (gold, which atoms can be in three charging states) the problem of calculation of concentration electrons in a zone of conductivity and a finding of a level Fermi in the semiconductor with multi-charged impurity is considered. The consideration is based not on Gibbs distribution for systems with variable number of particles, unknown to students of younger rates, but on calculation of probabilities of various quantum states taking into account their degeneration. Suppression of Rayleigh-Taylor
Instability on a Quickly Oscillating in Time Boundary of Two Fluids Physical analogies between the development of Rayleigh-Teylor instability and the oscillations of a mechanical pendulum are presented. The mechanical problem of an inverse pendulum stabilization (the problem considered by P.L. Kapitsa with the aid of effective potential) is solved by Floquet methods. Continuing further the analogy between instability and pendulum oscillations, we point out at the possibility of inhibition of Rayleigh-Taylor instability on a quickly oscillating in time boundary of two fluids. This effect is similar to the instability of an inverse pendulum. The criteria of stabilization for the case of an ideal fluid and small-amplitude high-frequency oscillations are given. The paper contains also the results of experimental verification of dynamic suppression of Rayleigh-Taylor instability. The idea of these experiments may be applied to create an installation for "laboratory work in physics". Gyroscopes on
Occupations on Physics in Engineering The description of effective demonstration installations of gyroscopic instruments is given, which one allows to boost an applied direction of education. Laboratory Work
on Studying of Doppler Effect in Acoustics The laboratory work on studying of Doppler effect in the acoustics is described. The particularity of this work is an using of ultrasonic frequencies range. Experience of Applying
Computer Technologies in Physics Teaching SPbSIFMO (TU) Briefly characteristic of applying computer technologies in physics education in SPbSIFMO (TU) is going to be discussed. Web sites' summary, having been developed by physics department staff, is going to be shown. Department's role in real and virtual laboratory works developing is signed. In this article the main aspects of organization of the educational process are observed. And this way of education will make students professional teachers, in fact, who will be able to use modern computer technologies in future. Computer Usage in
Analysis of Harmonic Generations In this paper the advantage to use computer in practice physicists are analyzed. Mathematical oscillatory process development in the analysis of harmonic generations is conducted in MathCad program. Cardinal principles of methods of announcing such sections are installed here. Electronic Educational Complex on
Optics and Atomic Physics for Non-Physical Specialties of Engineering Higher Schools The electronic education complex on section Optics and Atomic physics is developed. Submitted complex contains theoretical part and laboratory works (demonstrations), which make ease understanding the theory. The complex also allows training the students to a solution of tasks and has inspecting functions of the education. The Creation of the
Computer-Simulation Laboratory Work for E-Textbook of Optic It is proposed a number of computer-simulation laboratory works based on main phenomena in optics. In laboratory works it has an opportunity of change experimental data in long range. It makes possible to study optic phenomena in details. The costly physical devises are not needed in this computer-simulation laboratory works and other hand these labs have been clearly demonstrated. Teaching of Physics in
Continuous Educational Space Forms of updating of the maintenance of teaching of physics in additional training to preparation of the future entrants and at first-year students adaptable training are discussed. These educational structures are considered as area of uniform pedagogical space "school - technical high school". Computerized Thermodynamics Textbook Role of information technologies in an educational system is increasing. In this
connection the methodical fill up of expanding information space is necessary. One of
methods decision this task, creation of the computer textbooks.
