Inertial Forces in General Physics Course

V.I. Nikolaev

M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Physics

The problem of classification of inertial forces in a general physics course is discussed. Various approaches to this problem in well-known courses on mechanics are compared. It is argued that it would be reasonable to show the classification criteria for differing inertial forces onto their varieties. The classification of inertial forces may be full enough only in the case if it takes into account all possible contributions to the net ("absolute") acceleration of a mass point in an inertial reference system.

Formation of Physical Theory as a Method of Student Knowledge Systematization

N.V. Akinfieva, A.A. Ignatiev

Saratov State University, Physical Department;

Saratov, Astrakhanskaya street, 83

The problem of physical theory formation, its gnoseological and methodological questions is described. The importance of the structural and principal elements of fundamental physical theories for the realization of conceptual generalization for the instruction of physics at high school level are revealed. The didactical and methodical directions to student knowledge systematization based on the structure of the theory of physics are offered. The physical notions must correspond to the generalizations of modern physical theory, which unites them into an indivisible picture of the world.

Methodical Recipes for Seminar Classes on "Mechanical

Oscillations of Bound Pendulums"

I.M. Saraeva, A.S. Nifanov

Moscow State University, Physics Department.

Tasks are offered for seminar classes on the topic of "Oscillations in systems with several degrees of freedom" (course "General physics", part "Mechanics". Discussion, solution and analysis of these tasks make it possible to illustrate such important notions as normal oscillation, modes, and normal frequencies. Hereinafter, these notions will be met by students in all sections of physics.

The Use of Conversion Constant in the Course "Physics of Nuclei and Particles"

N.G. Goncharova

Moscow State University, Department of Physics

The usage of conversion constant in the course "Physics of Nuclei and Particles" is discussed. It shows that the research of nuclear and particle physics problems with the help of conversion constant simplifies the way to solution.

Untraditional Theory of Doppler's Effect

V.N. Kologrivov

M.V. Lomonosov Moscow Fine Chemical Technology Institute

The paper offers to consider the acoustical Doppler's effect by using the theory of Gill. The general formula is reduced. The particular cases of a moving source and receiver displaying in the stationary and moving medium are examined. The same is shown for the reflection of sound from a moving mirror. Further the origin of the effect taking place in the heterogeneous unstable medium located between the motionless source and receiver is discussed.

On the Diffraction Pattern Produced with the Partial Coherent Light on the Random Located Identical and Difference Structures

A.V. Bondarenko, N.G. Vlasov, E.V. Lyalina

Moscow State Technology University "STANKIN"

The work discusses the diffraction of a partial coherent light and the observation of the speckle-effect in white light.

Physical pendulum: Ways of Increasing the Accuracy

Measurements of g

A.I. Akimov, A.N. Baranov, A.M. Saletsky

M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Physics

Ways of increase the accuracy of the measurement of the value of acceleration of force of weight ( g ) with the help of an educational physical pendulum are discussed. Formulas for estimation of errors calculation of g are presented. The technique to increase the accuracy of measuring g under educational laboratory conditions is offered.

The Maxwell Function Distribution

A.P. Ovtchinnicov

Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology

9, Institutsky by-str., Dolgoprudny, Moscow Region 141700

The measurement method of the Maxwell function distribution is described and discussed in this work. The method measurer is the thermoelectron radio-tube.

Laboratory Work on Research Anisotropy of Reflection of the Linearly Polarized Wave from an Uniaxial Crystal

N.Ya. Molotkov, A.V. Postul'gin

G.D. Derjavin's Tambov State University

The work for a student's practice on optics is prepared in a centimetric range of electromagnetic waves (? = 3,2 cm). As an uniaxial crystal for radiowaves, the structure from thin sheets of an organic layered glass is used. The indicatrix of reflection and turn of a line of polarization of the reflected wave is investigated. The observable results of the experiment are coordinated with the theory of reflection of the linearly polarized wave from an uniaxial crystal.
