and the mechanical energy.
Using for Solutions

Cognitive Analysis of the Process of Solution of Training Physical Tasks

In the work the analysis of the cognitive operations, accomplished at the
different stages of the process of solution of training physical tasks,
is carried out. The importance of the primary working of text and intelligent
formation of the mental means of the situation described under the condition
is shown. It is indicated to existence "cognitive resource",
which limits the level of the complexity of the decided tasks. The formation
of the representations of physical phenomena occurs on the basis of cognitive
structures. Physical model appears during the allotment of complex cognitive
structure with the particular signs of the task in question.
Operating
by physical models and by the relations between them assumes developed
three-dimensional thinking.
After-School Programs in Physics

Students: a Form of College-School Collaboration
and a Way to Improve Physics Instruction

The article summarizes the experience of the author, a university professor,
in guiding physics after-school programs for high schools students. Two
elaborated curricula, which have been developed and improved over more
than three decades, are described. The multiple benefits of this type of

been performed. Its results testify to necessity of modification for existing
practice of teaching carrying out. In work 4 typical experimental tasks

It is shown, that laboratory-project works in a technical university as
a method of training to physics are expedient for carrying out in the environment
of a composite physical practical training which includes the interconnected
combination of virtual, computing and natural experiment, and also the
visual system. Examples of performance of concrete laboratory-project works
in Tomsk polytechnic university are discussed.

Study of a Resonance Using Tuning Fork and Computer
in Student's Laboratory

Educational laboratory equipment for study of the tuning fork resonance
under influence of the sound generated by personal computer is presented.
Vibration response of the tuning fork is registered by the same computer
through the microphone entry. Special program plots a resonance curve in
automatic scan mode. Variations of all physical parameters having influence
on the resonance, calculations and graphic presentation of the experimental
data are provided. Advantage of this educational research is a high presentation
of the studied phenomena.

described. In a basis of a practical work is fixed modern results of research
surface waveguide as a line Goubau. They have opened an opportunity of
development of new technology of construction of antennas.
The Imaginary Single-Slit Diffraction of Light

The imaginary single-slit diffraction formed by an opaque object placed
nearby orthogonal to a mirror is considered. For limiting cases Fraunhofer
and Fresnel diffractions the intensities patterns are derived. The observation
possibilities of the diffraction in laboratory experiment conditions are
discussed.
Computer Simulation of Interaction of Waves with
Arbitrary Orientation of Their Lines Polarization

The interaction of two coherent waves with arbitrary orientation of their
lines polarization is observed. The theory of addition of two coherent
waves with arbitrary orientation of their lines polarization and the theory
of their interference with analyzator availability are given. The computer
simulation results of observing interaction are equal the experimental
results in the centimeter electromagnetic wave band.
